Hi there! My name is Luke Cureton. I am a 26 Year old Hoosier trying to figure life out one day at a time and along the way I enjoy my sports, anime, comics, and video games. I’ve always loved writing, and my brother teases me about talking to myself often so naturally I just decided to blurb out my ramblings onto the page– and thus The City Blerb was born. Below you can find a little bit of information about me and how you can contact me.

Here is a quick gander at some of my favorite things in the world:
In my opinion the greatest film of all time. Flat out gripping. The story telling is one of the best examples on how to write a cohesively convoluted story and no one caring because of how awesome it turned out. Gaming is an essential part of my life, it helps relax me after dealing with the stressors of the world. Naruto is a series I grew up on and was what inspired me long ago in second grade to tell stories, be loyal to friends, and most importantly believe in myself. A lot of my core values have stemmed from this series. Of course writing for me can be the most relaxing and stressful thing to do in my day-depending on my mood. But nevertheless I enjoy it thoroughly, and it is something I have always been proud that I was able to do well. Fun fact- My first story I ever wrote was a short 6 page laminated paper booklet called Dirk the Flying Guinea Pig in the 4th grade. Being a lifetime learner and staying coachable are two cornerstones to my values. There are always new things to learn and I am never too good to at least try something new….unless it is very dangerous. Hard Pass on that. My family and friends are two peas in a pod. I couldn’t do anything without them and they wouldn’t be the same without each other. I have been blessed with many wonderful people in my life that have helped me become a better man each day. This is my favorite card game out right now. I enjoy all kinds of tabletop entertainment with a few of my favorites being- TMNT Shadows of the past, Marvel’s Legendary, Werewolf, Skrimish, A call to Adventure, and of course Drink-A-Palooza
My two favorite quotes are:
Life is a serious battle, and you have to use the tools you’re given. It’s more important to master the cards you’re holding than to complain about the ones your opponents were dealt.“
Grimsley, Pokemon B&W
Wise men say, ‘Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.’ “
-Michelangelo, TMNT
Big Thank You!
