Get to know Luke

Hi there! My name is Luke Cureton. I am a 24 Year old Hoosier trying to figure life out one day at a time and along the way I enjoy my sports, anime, comics, and video games. I’ve always loved writing, and my brother teases me about talking to myself often so naturally I just decided to blurb out my ramblings onto the page– and thus The City Blerb was born. Below you can find a little bit of information about me and how you can contact me.

First off I have an amazing and amazingly beautiful wife with whom has spent the last decade empowering, embracing, and even challenging me to be the best man I can become, and I am ever so grateful that she sees a couple redeemable qualities in me to stick around some ;p

Here is a quick gander at some of my favorite things in the world:

I have embarked on other endeavors as well:

I co-host a podcast called “The Digital Fireside” with a successful internet personality and friend of mine, Alex Hall. On this podcast we take stabs at the world around us and things that may even consume us. It can be explicit in nature at times so I would label it as NSFW. It can be found on Youtube, Itunes, and Spotify.

My two favorite quotes are:

Life is a serious battle, and you have to use the tools you’re given. It’s more important to master the cards you’re holding than to complain about the ones your opponents were dealt.

Grimsley, Pokemon B&W

Wise men say, ‘Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.’ “

-Michelangelo, TMNT

Big Thank You!

And that is just about all I really got for ya! Do you have a question for me? Want to have a discussion? Do you want to join the City Blerb writing team?! Just let me know! Either comment below or send an email to lukecureton@thecityblerb.com. Please if you could, share around and let all your friends and family know about The City Blerb. Thanks for your support!
